Why Should You Rush Phi Psi?

What is Rush?

Rush is the time when we get to know new people and consider asking them to join our fraternity. Phi Psi supports an open rush, which helps to make the process of meeting people more natural.

What we stand for...

Strong National Brotherhood

Phi Kappa Psi is strong across the nation at 90 campuses besides Depaul. A Depaul Phi Psi can go to any of these campuses and be immediately welcomed as a brother.

Lifelong Friendships

The gentlemen you meet in the fraternity will quickly number among your closest friends, and they will remain your lifelong friends. The fraternity makes it easy to stay in contact with old friends, and it gives you the chance to help and advise under-graduate brothers.

Academics

Phi Psi will not make you abandon your coursework--rather, we understand that classes are the primary reason one is at DePaul and we make allowances for them. Furthermore, Phi Psi offers many scholarships to its members, both on the national and local level. Finally, you may find that the best study groups are formed with fellow Phi Psi brothers.

Community Service

We endeavor to help the community whenever we can by participating in charity events and community service projects.

Leadership

Within the fraternity, we have numerous opportunities to assume leadership positions and direct the course of Phi Psi.

What Happens After Rush?

The hardest part about pledge period is managing to somehow take advantage of every free meal, every learning experience, and every bonding activity to which you're entitled as a pledge of Phi Kappa Psi. You meet people you might never have met otherwise. You'll accomplish things you might never have been able to accomplish otherwise. And when you emerge you'll have developed an unmistakable brotherhood with some extraordinary men.
